Campbell Tyson Limited provides its independent trustee services through Franklin Trustee Services (FTS). The directors of Campbell Tyson are the same directors of Franklin Trustee Services.

An independent trustee is an impartial trustee who does not benefit from the trust’s assets. Unlike trustees who have an interest in the trust, an independent trustee is more likely to be fair and equitable in making any decisions for the trust, due to lack of personal gain or personal benefit from such a decision.
An independent trustee can be a family friend or a professional person, such as an accountant or lawyer.
It is important to appoint an independent trustee that:

Who knows the obligations of a trustee and is aware of any changes in legislation and requirements for the trusts.

Campbell Tyson are proud to have a JP available on site 3 days a week. If you require the services of a JP, please contact reception to schedule an appointment time by phoning 09 238 9219.
